22nd November - Infant Feeding Workshop This entirely comprehensive Parent format draws on elements of active birth, hypnobirthing, parentcraft and traditional antenatal classes to create one very powerful combination. From birth plans to massage in labour, informed choice to packing hospital bags and feeding your baby to changing their nappy –this workshop has got you covered. The Parent Birth and Baby Care Preparation Workshops are for all those who are pregnant along with their co-parent, are suitable to attend from around 25 weeks pregnant right up until baby’s birth, and are adapted to suit all pregnancy related conditions, birth plans and parenting choices with ease. The Infant Feeding Workshop is part of the full Parent Workshop and we cover the following: Parent Infant Feeding Workshop – one 2.5 hours session Understand how breastfeeding works Understanding position & attachment Expressing PACED feeding How & when to sterilise equipment Role of partner Location: St Matthews Community Hall, Chapel Ln, Stretford, Manchester M32 9AJ You can also add on the Pregnancy Flow Classes, a gentle, weekly pregnancy yoga flow which helps to deepen your muscle memory as we practice pregancy yoga to ease those pregnancy aches, explore more positions and movements for labour and birth and practice our breathing techniques in more depth.
