About

Ana Bradley - Pregnancy, Birth & Beyond in Stretford, South Manchester!
I'm a qualified Perinatal Educator and former Daisy Foundation teacher with years of experience supporting expectant parents. After The Daisy Foundation closed, I continued independently because I believe every family deserves evidence-based, compassionate preparation for birth and early parenthood.
My aim isn't to tell you how your birth should look—it's to help you feel informed, calm and confident enough to make the choices that are right for you.

Who Am I
Hi, I'm Ana – mum to four wonderful (and very energetic!) children. As a family, we love spending time outdoors, exploring new places and making memories together whenever we can.

Like many parents, my own journey into pregnancy wasn't without its worries. In fact, when I was expecting my first baby, I had absolutely no idea what to expect. Everything I thought I knew about birth had come from television, where labour seemed to involve lying on a hospital bed, connected to monitors, while being told what to do. I genuinely believed that was simply "how birth was."

Then, almost by chance, another mum emailed me and invited me to try a new class. That was over 13 years ago, and looking back, it completely changed my experience of pregnancy and birth.

At the time they were called Lazy Daisy Birthing Classes, now known as Active Birthing Classes, and they opened my eyes to a completely different way of preparing for birth.

I discovered what active birth really means (and no, it doesn't mean you have to spend your whole labour walking around!). I learned breathing techniques, relaxation strategies and movements that supported each stage of labour. More importantly, I gained something I hadn't expected—confidence.

Instead of feeling frightened by the unknown, I understood what my labour journey could look like and felt equipped to make informed choices along the way.
My birth wasn't without its challenges, but I approached it with knowledge, confidence and a sense of trust in my body.
That experience inspired me to become a teacher myself.

For a few years, I had the privilege of teaching with The Daisy Foundation, supporting many expectant parents through pregnancy, birth and the transition into parenthood.
When The Daisy Foundation ceased trading in August 2023 after more than 15 years of supporting thousands of families across the UK, I knew I wanted to continue sharing the classes and knowledge that had made such a difference to my own life.

That's how Pregnancy, Birth & Beyond was born.
Vision
The classes I attended all those years ago have stayed with me ever since, and I remain passionate about helping parents prepare for one of the biggest adventures of their lives.

Whether you're expecting your first baby or your fifth, my aim is always the same: to help you feel informed, empowered and confident in your own choices.

My classes provide evidence-based education in a relaxed and welcoming environment, giving you practical skills and tools to help you navigate pregnancy, birth and early parenthood with confidence. Rather than telling you what you should do, I want you to understand your options so you can make the decisions that are right for you and your family.

One of the unexpected joys of attending pregnancy classes is the friendships that grow from them. Many parents meet people who become an important part of their support network long after their babies have arrived, and I love seeing those connections continue to flourish.

Supporting families through this special chapter of their lives is a privilege, and I would be delighted to be part of your journey too.
